xx newbie question.
« Thread started on: Feb 14th, 2013, 4:08pm »

Hi there folks,
I've sold up all my fx and a old fender bassman - I'm looking for an SLO 100.
I'm based in the UK.

All advice appreciated smiley
Also, my only cab is a mesa 2x12 dual rec. How will that sound with the SLO until I can afford a Soldano cab?
Cheers
Nick

I think the SLO doesnt sound great with Vin 30's. Greenbacks are great and Ive heard the Em Legands are the way to go.

I think the SLO sounds good with my Diezel 4x12 with UK V30's. However they do have over ten years of break-in on them if that makes a difference. I also have a couple Soldano 2x12 cabs with Eminence that sound great if not better.
