SLO100 FX chain Question
Post by nudarkshadowl on May 2nd, 2016, 2:28pm

Hey guys, I had a quick question regarding my FX chain set up with the SLO 100.

I have the following FX:

TC electronics G-Major (original)
Digitech JAMman Stereo looper
EBtech Line level shifter

What I am trying to accomplish is running the G-major through the SLO100 FX loop, and using the LLS and the looper to build backing tracks.

The issues that I am running into, are that the gain channel distorts everything previously looped with the clean channel.

Can someone please help me get my FX chain in order. I have the Gmajor running thorough the FX loop, and love the sound, but I can't figure out how to put the line level shifter and the Jamman into the chain without the gain channel distorting my previously recorded loops.

I've messed around with a bunch of different set ups and can't seem to figure this out for the life of me. I'm sure its something simple, but any help would greatly appreciated.

Possible a visual explanation of how to route things.... Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi!
The level a shifter and looper are also in the loop?
If not the dirty channel will of course distort the looper output. This could be a wet/dry mix problem, in that the jam man or g-major may be outputting some of the input from the fx loop whilst on the dirty channel as well as the output from the clean looped sound - otherwise the shifter levels are wrong - hope that makes sense and good luck!
