Hi all.
This might be a longshot.

My X99 has noise/hum/brum whatever you want to call it.
It sound a bit like ground noise but is not. I have taken the amp out of the rack, tried different power amps and so on..
Also tried changing the tubes - no help.
Any suggestions??
I want to make sure I canīt fix this myself before sending it away - I am in Norway.
Also: how much output are you using when using the X99?

Thanks in advance for chiming in and giving your advice

I had an X88R once that had something like that. It turned out to be a cracked solderjoint in the rail that feeds the tubes somewhere IIRC.

Pop it open and poke around with a chopstick to see if you can localize the problem.

Good luck !
