Soldano Avenger 50W - Low Input
« Thread started on: May 10th, 2015, 02:05am »
Hey there everyone!
Have recently purchased a Soldano Avenger 50W and am loving the tone from the amp!
Was just wondering if anyone has any hints and tips regarding the low input on this amp?
Would definitely prefer not to rely on pedals etc. just wondering how anyone here has used it - I find I am loving the tone of it around 7-8 on the preamp and 4-5 on the master - I cut the depth almost entirely - back off my bass, slightly boost my treble and I get a useable pop Rock sound. I am sure it's capable of more than this so just wondering everyone's opinions

Good dial in, well done. Works every time like that.
Low input skips one stage of preamp gain. Hit pregain control harder and yep, you found a killer tone there.
