xx SLO-100 for sale...brand new!
« Thread started on: Apr 11th, 2004, 01:23am »

This is a 2004, black tolex SLO with the DEPTH MOD and is brand new with original “blank” warrantee card, manual, and original shipping box. I obtained this amp from a friend and got a great deal on it. I have another SLO and decided I really can’t afford to have 2 of them. GAS attack on this one. This is truley a MINT CONDITION, brand new, Factory boxed SLO-100. $1900.00 included shipping. Please no trades of any kind…$$$ only.

Thanks!

That is correct. Bill Sundt is right...the loopless SLO is louder, less compressed & more open sounding, and a touch more crunch with articulation...if that makes sense?

I would snatch it from you but I don't have the money yet! If you held it for me I might be able to get the money by mid june!

If not, is it possible to get an effects loop taken out of an SLO, or even bypass it? If so, who is the best tech to do that?

There's a tech called Michael John Jr. from Seattle. I bet he could do that for you. wink

Cool man! As soon as I can get an SLO I might have to consider giving him a call. He must know the guys from Soldano pretty well huh? Heck the Soldano company is there in Seattle right?

Oh, BTW. It's possible to add a switch to bypass the effects loop circuitry. That's probably more useful than having no loop at all.

I like the sound of that a lot better! It would be nice to have an effects loop, just as long as I had some really great gear to use with it!
