Does anyone have any suggestions regarding a good 2x12 for the Astroverb head?
I'm afraid I'm heading for the Soldano anyway, but anyone who objects to my spending pattern, please react.

I'm not THAT much of a pundit and assumed my existing cabs would be just fine, but the're not. My 1970s 4x12 Celestions do very well on the clean stuff, but not on the crunch. My Carvin GT12 2x12 are somewhat mediocre, as I realized today, truly shocking, actually.

the only good 2x12 cab is vertical. try putting that cab on it's side. 4x12's have horrible horizontal dispersion. avoid them at all costs (avoiding them will save money in the long run!). don't judge crunch by the speakers. that's the amp's job.
