xx Some NAMM pics etc.

I'm back home after 2 very long days at NAMM. I wouldn't even think about going on the weekend. Way too crowded and noise police are long gone by then.

Anyway, great show, but only saw a few things that were earth shattering.

1. I picked up DBZ Custom Shop Guitars dealership and this one off Tiger Eye DBZ Custom Shop Flame Maple Bolero is now mine. I can get another one, but sorry, this one is coming to Memphis. DBZ is Dean B. Zelinsky, yep, the founder of Dean Guitars. He and Jeff Diamant of Diamond Amps are partners.

2. Neil Peart's custom DW drum kit. Picture doesn't do it justice. It appeared to be a hand rubbed copper plating on all the hardware. It was simply amazing.

3. King's X. As usual, they rocked the Ampeg booth. Incredibly tight band playing raw in your face rock and roll.

4. Ok, you may not want to believe this, but Night Ranger's lineup is now with Joel Hoekstra on guitar with Brad Gillis. I can safely say I've never seen a better guitar duet of monsters ever. This guy made Brad work hard just to keep up. This was not the same band from years ago, it was WAY better with a big modern feel.
