Played a $200,000 '59 Les Paul this week

I played a rare 1959 Les Paul valued around $200,000. It is currently on loan to the Allman Brothers Band Big House Museum in Macon Georgia. It played like butter in my hands. My bass player took some photos of me playing it. As soon as he emails them to me, I'll post the pictures. It was set up perfectly. You could both pick and play slide with ease and comfort.

Wow Bama...what amazing story. To me, there is no better guitar than the '59 Lester. I have a R9, and that's the closest I'll ever get to owning one...it's a beauty and a player (and cost alot less than 250,000 bucks). Thanks for the post!!
