xx guitar-mounted sho?
« Thread started on: Feb 14th, 2010, 3:54pm »

i've got a home-made version of the zvex super hard-on and use it all the time. how many others have tried it? has anyone contemplated mounting one in a guitar? i have a tone control that's just wasting space. i thought a good idea would be to make the tone control disappear and replace it with an SHO circuit, and make the pot a push/pull so that i can pull the knob out to disable the power supply (which would by via 9v battery inside the guitar) to kill it when i want, or when i'm done playing to save the battery. i guess it could be wired to a stereo jack so the power could be killed by pulling the instrument cable. any electronics gurus have any input or feedback?
