I used 4" speaker dust caps instead and attached them to the inside of the grill so that the dome points toward the speaker. They really do make a difference, gets rid of a LOT of fizz.

Dust caps are about $2.50 apiece, beam blockers are around $18.
Save some money and go the dust cap route.
