Hey guys, here is my reverbnation page

www.reverbnation.com/teemunknee

Tell me what you think please, it would mean a lot to me.

As for "Black" I wrote all the music and lyrics, and played and sang everything on the recording.

It was done in something of a hurry, so I couldn't get everything like how I wanted but the gist is still there.

So, listen, enjoy, like, dislike, hate, be ok with, fall in love with, scold me, whatever. grin

Thanks
-Travis

Travis, I enjoyed your material. I can hear a lot more going on as Im sure you can add as you develop this work. It would be cool if you could get tekbow or angrygoldfish to add some drop tuned stuff and have bamaboy splash some slide in. Just a thought. Otherwise kudos for posting, not easy to throw yourself out for critique.

Good Job!!

Some of those guitar phrases remind me of Zep III. I would be interested in hearing more tracks, with a bit more production, and other players added in. There is a market for your kind of songs.

Thank you very much! The only reason why there isn't more is because I'm recording on my drummer's BR...something... and we only have a 128 MB flash card currently. A 1Gig is coming though. I'm going to add more lead type stuff and possibly have my bassist put a bass track on it

I was going to put a little bit of slide on it, since you mentioned it, but we BARELY had enough space to put harmony vocals on it lol. I'm not very good though. If anyone wants to play around and add some stuff feel free to! I can send the MP3 via e-mail, if anyone would want it, that is...

Thank you for the compliments and suggestions, and I'm very glad you like it, so far I've heard only positive reviews with one mixing critique

We're going to do a full band one soon, on that same BR, probably with just one full music track, a lead vocal track, and a harmony vocal track.

We are going to start recording an EP in the summer sometime. I'll keep this forum posted

Thank you for the AMAZING compliment! grin

Hey neighbor!

I liked the tune, but the background vocal was pretty much off pitch/key the whole time and pretty distracting. I understand and like the harmony you were trying to achieve so just keep practicing and you'll work it out.

Keep it up!

Thanks man!!! Sadly I didn't play my astroverb. It was those cheesy effects on my bandmates BR but I can live with it for the moment...

Are you talking about the Boss Micro BR? I have that thing and it's a pain to use. Grrr, waste of money.

Nice job, btw!

Dude, tell me about it, it's one of the multi track ones though. They are easier to use, but I just don't get why sometimes a file is too big to export...that makes no sense to me...

The condenser mics on these are pretty decent though

Ok guys, It's been re-recorded and re-mixed. The solo is actually not god awful lol

Still didn't have all the time in the world to re-do it, but it's a lot better than the old version. Hope you guys like it better smiley

?

I play in E, 6 strings..... But I could drop the LP down a full step, turn the gain up from 4.5 to 6.5 on the SLO and coat that track with a sticky Soldano load. smiley

As for the track.... I listened to it a dozen times. I like it. Puttin your head on the chopping block is difficult. I give much credit to you for posting a great honest recording.
Be proud of what you did on that and build upon it.

Props to any menber that records a solo over it and posts it here.

I would have put more lead stuff on there, but I didn't have the space with that damn BR...

But of course, anyone is more than welcome to take and add. I can send the MP3 via e-mail if anyone is interested, it's not even 3 MB I don't think.

Thanks to all that have listened!!! I really think the new version is worlds better, still not perfect obviously, but much better.
